OUR STORY

Established in 2020, KODA SNOW first launched in the French Alps from a chalet in La Plagne. Founded by a British seasonaire and snowboarder, the brand moved its base to the Austrian Alps in St Anton where the online store was created. After a successful winter season, KODA SNOW expanded into apparel with the focus on high quality clothing made responsibly. The t-shirts created were made for all year round but could withstand seasons of endless park laps, après and spring slush sessions. All having been made sustainably and ethically.

This winter, KODA SNOW will be launching the very exciting 'Reworked Vintage'. This will be limited drops of one of a kind, carefully hand-picked and personally reworked garments ready for the slopes. Each garment will be entirely unique and undeniably iconic.

MATERIALS

What makes our t-shirts sustainable?

​

By exclusively using 100% 'GOTS' certified organic cotton in all our t-shirts, we are combatting climate change. Organic cotton emits up to 46% less greenhouse gas than non-organic and is the only system which eliminates highly toxic synthetic pesticides from the environment. Organic cotton also has significantly fewer negative impacts on water with the majority of fields relying on rain rather than underground water supplies.

PRODUCTION

What makes our t-shirts ethical?

​

We only work with suppliers who are members of the Fair Wear Foundation who ensure ethical practises in their factories. Employees have safe and healthy working conditions, a payment of living wage and reasonable hours of work. The FWF also ensure there is no exploitation of child labour or discrimination in employment. In addition to this, our tees are made in factories that are equipped with state-of-the art Effluent Treatment Plants which remove toxic elements from the water and ensure it’s safe to be reused.

All of our designing, printing and customisation is done within a 10 mile radius of our HQ, supporting local businesses and minimising our carbon footprint where we can.

Goodbye to plastics.

 

Our eco-friendly packaging is 100% plastic free! We use carbon neutral, biodegradable poly-mailers, printed with water based non-toxic ink, to ship your orders to you which can be re-used for returns. Please always contact us before sending any returns as our packaging requires a little TLC before posting. All orders are wrapped in recyclable heavy paper for that little extra protection.
